NHHTC Programs

NHHTC Kocher Scholarship

This new member benefit was introduced at the Product of the Year Banquet. We created the "NHHTC Kocher Scholarship Program," whereby five children of NHHTC member company employees will receive scholarships of $2,000 annually for up to four years. These students are required to study Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) at a NH college or university, complete an internship with a NH company, and express a desire to stay in NH after graduation. This is a great benefit for every NHHTC member company.

The scholarship program is being managed for the NHHTC by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Companies and individuals from throughout the high tech community are contributing to the scholarship fund, with the maximum contribution limited to $1000 annually. Contributions are tax deductible. The Scholarship program is designed to let our students know that they have a bright future studying and working in New Hampshire, particularly if they plan to focus on science, technology, engineering or math. We'll be honoring these future scientists, engineers and business leaders at the Entrepreneur of the Year event next June.

HALL OF FAME & the NH High Technology Council

The New Hampshire High Technology Council (NHHTC) Hall of Fame, located at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, celebrates the people and businesses engaged in New Hampshire's vibrant high tech community. Each year, over one million visitors from around the world will learn about the NHHTC's array of programs and view displays featuring winners of the NHHTC's Product of the Year competition. The NHHTC supports high tech companies looking to locate or grow in the state by fostering collaboration between the private sector, academia and government. The Hall of Fame serves as a highly visible symbol of New Hampshire's commitment to high technology. College graduates, in particular, are encouraged to learn more about the many opportunities available in New Hampshire. The Hall of Fame display is one part of a larger effort by the NHHTC and the State of NH Department of Resources and Economic Development to brand New Hampshire as a technology state. This year, John Lynch, Governor of NH, issued a citation to NHHTC.

Additionally, the Council is preparing to launch a number of new programs that will be ongoing and available to members.
