Event to honor an individual who has significantly advanced innovation in the Granite state
The New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) has announced the four spotlight speakers for its 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) Award. The annual celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 13 beginning at 5:30 pm at Southern NH University and will honor an individual who has significantly advanced innovation in the Granite State over his or her career.
Each of the four speakers will give a short presentation on areas of trending interest. They are as follows:
Peter Antoinette, president & CEO of Nanocomp Technologies, Inc. Prior to co-founding Nanocomp, Antoinette was the president and CEO of Cambridge Research & Instrumentation Inc. Previously, he spent a fifteen year career with Millipore Corporation. He is a former Mass High Tech All Star and currently serves as a director of the New Hampshire High Tech Council; chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board for the NSF Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing (Boston, MA); member of United States Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s Small Business Advisory Council; and served on President Obama’s National Nanotechnology Advisory Panel for the President’s Council of Advisers on Science and Technology.
